4 Tips To Prepare for Spring

The month of Spring has finally arrived, Hallelujah! We couldn’t be happier and in fact, we don’t even mind losing an hour on Sunday when daylight savings time ends, because it means it stays light till so much later!

With the season of renewal just around the corner, now is the perfect time to start to prepare mind, body and spirit by shedding the old and embracing the new.

These 4 tips will help to provide a full mind, body and soul detox so you can welcome the Spring with open arms and a happy heart!

Do a digital detox once a week

Too many of us stay glued to our screens, in fact, don’t feel ashamed if you were scrolling through insta right before you found this post.

We aren’t judging, everything is online nowadays, but too much time online and too little time in the real world can take a toll on your mental health.

To recharge your batteries, try spending time away from the screen at least once a week. Turn off your phone, stay away from your computer and your email and allow yourself a day to truly unwind.

Start every day with warm lemon water

Starting every day with warm lemon water will help to gently detoxify your liver on a daily basis and this is a great daily practice to keep your insides clean and healthy!

Simply squeeze the juice of half a lemon into a cup of warm water and drink before your cup of coffee every morning.

Get sweaty a few times a week

Exercise is key to boosting blood circulation and helping to flush toxins from your system, but we know it can be hard to stick to a regular routine.

Try finding something you enjoy doing. Taking your workout outdoors is a great way to enjoy the fresh new buds on the trees, the slightly warmer temps and its a great way to soak up some Vitamin D while you’re at it.

Diffuse essential oils

Last, but definitely not least, be sure to diffuse your essential oils and allow their aromatherapy benefits to work their magic.

Citrus oils like lemon and orange are great choices for this time of year, as well as fresh floral scents like rose, lavender, and jasmine.

We hope you follow these tips as you head into this new beautiful season of renewal.
