Tips To Get Your Skin Ready For Fall

While you may enjoy lapping up the last rays of Summer, the fact is that Fall is just around the corner.

Don't let this get you down! Fall is a gorgeous season with all the beautiful colours, the cozy mugs of hot chocolate, and time spent snuggling with loved ones.

With the change of season comes a change in your skin due to the drier, crisper air. Fall is the time to treat your skin with extra TLC to ensure it stays looking it's best. Now is the best time to start so that the transition is easy!

 Here's our 3 top tips!

Exfoliation is an excellent way to get your skin Fall ready. By exfoliating the skin, you help to remove dead skin cells that may cause your skin to look dull or dry. Exfoliation also allows your skin to better absorb products like serums and moisturizers.

Opt for a mild exfoliator that can be used at least twice a week and is gentle enough for sensitive skin.

Apply a More Intense Moisturizer

Moisturizing your skin is important no matter what the season, but it becomes even more important once the temperatures drop.

The cooler, crisp air is due to a lack of moisture in the air which can seriously dry out your skin.

Be sure to apply a rich moisturizer, such as our multi-vitamin creme morning and night. With ingredients including apricot kernel oil, coconut oil, fatty acids and antioxidants, this is a real skin treat!

 Apply an Oil at Night

To really amp up the hydration in your skin, try and apply an oil to your skin before bed to work its magic while you get your beauty sleep.

Oils absorb deeper than moisturizers to really hydrate and give your skin a gorgeous glow. They can be applied under your moisturizer for even more skin protection.

Try one of our oils here at Green Sisters, as they jam-packed with skin loving ingredients and free of harmful chemicals.

We hope these tips help you to transition into the new season with ease! But for now, get outside and enjoy those last beautiful rays of summer. And don't forget your sunscreen!
