Description: Niaouli Essential Oil comes from an evergreen tree with a flexible trunk, spongy bark, and pointed leaves with spikes of sessile flowers.

Colour: Colourless to pale yellow liquid.

Aromatic Scent: Niaouli Essential Oil has a strong, camphoraceous scent similar to eucalyptus oil.

Common Use: Organic Naiouli is considered to have strong antiseptic, antibacterial, and anti-fungal properties, and can be used in formulations to treat skin conditions such as acne, boils, burns, cuts, insect bites and other skin ailments. It is also believed to aid with respiratory conditions making it useful for treating bronchitis, asthma, colds, sinuses, coughs and sore throats. Organic Niaouli Essential Oil is also used in pharmaceutical preparations such as gargles, cough drops, toothpastes, and mouth sprays. Naiouli oil is said to be stimulating and uplifting to the senses and can be used in blends to energize and refresh the mind and body.

 Spiritual Use: The clarifying aroma of Niaouli oil is used to clear the mind, induce concentration, uplift mood, and inspire optimism about the future. Although niaouli oil is stimulating by itself, it can be blended with calming lavender and inhaled or applied before bed to relieve insomnia. Niaouli oil may be beneficial for clearing away emotional stress and helping one feel comfortable in one's own skin.

History: Niaouli has a long history of use by many different cultures. In the Middle East it is valued as a tea that helps stimulate healthy bowels. It has been used in many hospitals to ward off malaria and to purify the water supply.
